The largest European event on R&D&i in Transfiere

Transfiere, European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, has made public a preview of the extensive program of its thirteenth edition. More than 70 panels in five main spaces make Transfiere 2024 the largest European event on knowledge transfer and R&D&I.

The forum, which will take place on March 20, 21 and 22 at FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga), will develop a specialized agenda structured in the Innovation Room, Science Room, Ágora, Research Center and Andalucía Knowledge spaces. Thus, the thematic areas that will structure said program will revolve around the territoriality of innovation, data sovereignty, Compra Pública de Innovación (PPI), entrepreneurship and open innovation, research and knowledge transfer, investment and financing, as well as communication and scientific dissemination. It can be consulted at www.forotransfiere.com.

More than 400 global innovation leaders from the business sector, public administrations and academia will participate in this meeting to connect and promote scientific and technological development as an element of competitiveness, growth and progress. Like every year, Transfer will once again position Malaga at the epicenter of the debate on the main scientific-technological advances that occur internationally through an event that brings together the main representatives of the innovation ecosystem.

Thus, entrepreneurship and open innovation will be other major themes of the forum’s programming, which, among other content, will host a demo day for the startups participating in the APTENISA business acceleration program launched by the Association of Science Parks and Technological Institutes of Spain (APTE) and co-financed by ENISA (National Innovation Company) – an organization belonging to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. In addition, it will promote the fifth call of the Open Call for Deep Tech Start-ups coordinated together with the Enterprise Europe Network (ENN) and the European Business Angels Network (EBAN). This initiative will allow emerging companies to increase their visibility to national and international investors, thus facilitating access to financing for innovative projects that are in an early stage of development. Precisely, investment and financing are also the main axes of the program along with scientific communication and dissemination.

Transfiere is organized by the Malaga City Council; the Department of University, Research and Innovation of the Government of Andalusia, and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. FYCMA assumes the executive direction of the event. The City Council of Salamanca, the Community of Madrid, the Technology Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), the Provincial Council of Malaga, the Madri+d Knowledge Foundation, the Universidad de Málaga and the municipal companies Emasa and Limpieza de Malaga.
