Freepik Company, the Malaga company of graphic resources, has just announced that Bangkok (Thailand) is the city chosen to celebrate the first Freepik Space, an international event that will be repeated every year in a different country. The objective of this contest, whose first edition will take place on June 29, is to strengthen relations with the designers and photographers with whom the company works throughout the world. In this regard, it should be noted that the Andalusian company has more than 6,000 external collaborators, who upload their own content to the different platforms of the group (Freepik and Flaticon).
During the meeting, which is expected to be attended by more than 300 renowned professionals, such as photographers Tirachard Kumtanom and Natsicha Wetchasart; the vector and icon designers, Mr. Boonkue Cherdpayak and Kan Kingpetcharat, respectively; as well as Freepik Company’s managers, such as Growth Hacker Álvaro García, Account Manager Preena Godhwani and Thailand’s brand ambassador Prakasit Khuansuwan, the company’s news will be exhibited and talks and presentations will be held on the graphic design sector, the implementation of new tools and techniques, and the latest market trends.
This announcement coincided with the creation of another important platform: Freepik Orbit, a type of forum that, unlike the previous one, will be born individually at the request of the ambassadors that Freepik Company has throughout the world, and not company itself. It contemplates the participation of professionals of any sector, not only of photographers and designers, as it is the case of Freepik Space. Its objective is to create strong communities at the local level. Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, will be the first city to host a Freepik Orbit on May 26. Its program includes a wide variety of conferences in which speakers and attendees will analyze the importance of digital platforms, and the techniques that exist to optimize the management of stocks and, therefore, the increase in the income they generate, among other themes of interest.
According to Marina Lara, Growth Marketing Manager of Freepik Company, “With the creation of two events we want to improve the relationship we maintain with our collaborators, and offer them tools and techniques that allow them to optimize their content. For us it is important that they know our philosophy, but also to help them improve the production and profitability of their stocks.”
About Freepik Company:
Freepik was born in 2010 as a meta search engine for free graphic content and, over time, went on to generate its own resources. In 2013, Flaticon was launched, focused on the design of icons; and, 3 years later, Tutpad was created as a free online learning community. On the other hand, SlidesGo, recently published, offers Power Point and Google Slides presentation designs.
The founders Alejandro and Pablo Blanes and Joaquín Cuenca, creator of successful emerging companies such as Panoramio (acquired by Google), have shaped Freepik Company “with the aim of democratizing the use of graphic content and spreading knowledge about the creative world.” With more than 25 million monthly visits, it has become an international benchmark which, for the third consecutive year, has been included by the Financial Times in the ranking of the 1000 fastest growing European companies.
