True to its vocation to build bridges and enhance talent, Sinergias Club Internacional celebrates the new edition of its highly anticipated Solidarity Gala. More than a grand corporate evening, the event reaffirms the club’s essence: to unite the power of leadership with ongoing social commitment. Through its charitable branch, Sinergias con Corazón, the entity collaborates throughout the year with various non-profit foundations, providing them visibility, connecting them with the business network, and mobilizing its community to boost their causes.

On this special night, the celebration becomes the main fundraising platform to ensure financial continuity for these projects, demonstrating that business success finds its true meaning when it generates a positive impact on society.

The countdown will begin on Friday, October 9 at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella with the official presentation to the media. The press conference will feature Alejandro Freijó, General Director of Employment and Entrepreneurship; Carmen Rodríguez, Managing Director of Hospital Recoletas Salud (official sponsor); Helena Olcina, President of Sinergias Club Internacional; and Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, head of Sinergias con Corazón.

A tribute to inspiring leadership and new talent

True to its philosophy, the gala will pay tribute to different visions of leadership: from great visionaries in the business world to community leaders and young talents.

One of the most awaited and emotional moments of the evening will be the presentation of the Sinergias Recognitions, directly voted on by the club’s members to reward those colleagues who best embody the entity’s distinctive values: authenticity, collaboration, honesty, and the ability to create opportunities for others.

Alongside the internal awards, the prestigious honors will be presented in their different categories:

• National Recognition 2026: Awarded to Pedro Rodríguez, founder of Sierra Blanca Estates, in tribute to a business career inextricably linked to the development, excellence, and positioning of Marbella as the ultimate international luxury destination.

• International Recognition: A very special award whose identity will remain the evening’s big surprise.

• Junior Recognition: Given to the young 13-year-old artist Rafael Barrio, whose exceptional talent represents that new generation to whom Sinergias seeks to provide voice, projection, and opportunities.

A century of service: Sinergias con Corazón honors Rotary in Málaga

The highlight of the charitable dimension will be the Sinergias con Corazón Recognition 2026, which this year goes to Rotary International on the occasion of its 100 years of history in Málaga, honoring an uninterrupted century of solidarity commitment and community service.

This distinction will be led by Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, councilwoman of the Nueva Andalucía district and head of Sinergias con Corazón, along with Michael Bormann, CEO of Grupo BDP, who will speak in English. The award will be received by Juan José Frías, governor of Rotary. This emotional act summarizes the initiative’s raison d’être: to demonstrate how the business environment can transform its influence into an essential support network when united for a common cause.

A bilingual and multicultural evening

Conceived for a cosmopolitan community, the Gala will be conducted smoothly in both Spanish and English, led by a select group of hosts closely linked to Sinergias:

• In Spanish: Humberto Gacioppo, CEO of Grupo Gaucho Banús and one of the most beloved figures in Marbella’s business scene, will bring his charisma and spontaneity; alongside Félix Martín Rojas, recognized Málaga entrepreneur and philanthropist, who will add his dynamism and approachability.

• In English: Nicole King, presenter of Good Morning Spain and an essential reference for Marbella’s international community; accompanied by Elsa Ibáñez, Communications Director of the club’s international area.

The experience will begin with an exclusive VIP cocktail and networking, a space designed to connect awardees, authorities, industry leaders, and special guests.
