Anytech 365 Andalucía Open: Mager, Giannessi and Marcora from Italy and Klizan from Slovakia, in the next round

The AnyTech365 Andalucía Open Challenger 80 already knows its first quarter-finalists. Gianluca Mager, Alessandro Giannessi, Roberto Marcora and Martin Klizan won their matches. Three of them were Italians.

The day started on the center court Manolo Santana with the match between the Italian Gianluca Mager, 4th Top seed, and the Swede Elias Ymer. Mager was much more solid with his second service and the victory was for him. Better performance than last year for the Italian when he was beat in the second round.

In Quarter-finals he will face his compatriot Roberto Marcora who beat Ernests Gulbis. Second “head to head” of the season, after the victory for Mancora during the ATP 250 in Singapore.

Big day for Italian tennis, Alessandro Giannessi was the third player clasiffied for Quarters. He won his match against the Portuguese Pedro Sousa (5th Top seed), 6-4, 6-3.

Martin Klizan will be Giannessi’s rival for a place in the semi-finals. The 6-title ATP champion won in two straight sets against Henri Laaksonen.
